WHAT IS ABM?




K to 12 Program is introduced to us by our former president, Benigno Aquino. It covers 13 years of basic education with the following key stages: Kindergarten to Grade 3, Grades 4 to 6, Grades 7 to 10 (Junior High School) and Grades 11 and 12 (Senior High School). It provides sufficient time for mastery of concepts and skills, develop lifelong learners, and prepare graduates for tertiary education, middle-level skills development, employment, and entrepreneurship. It has a different track with different stand. One of these strands is ABM under Academic track.


Accounting, Business and Management is expected to be the most popular career paths under the K to 12 program. It over a range of job opportunities in the product and service sectors of the Philippine economy. The track prepares students for business management programs at the collegiate level, as well as occupation in the skilled labor force as operations technicians and service personnel. ABM focuses on learning the basic concepts of business and learning associated skills in other related fields like finance, management, corporate, and operations.
